Q.  Why should I tint my home?
A.  If you are looking to reduce your solar gain through your windows and protect your interior design, Huper Optik® Smart Window Films  will do that without forcing you to live in the dark or reduce your window appearance.  They are dye free, and the Ceramic line is metal and dye free leaving your windows looking natural.

Q.  I am worried about my glass warranty, why should I still tint my home?
A.  Because with the purchase of our film installation you will receive a limited glass warranty.  Premium warranties are available for purchase as well.

Q.  Are the window films installed on the inside of the home or building?
A.  Yes.  There are some films designed to be applied to the exterior side of the glass, however for most applications window films are installed on the inside of the home for protection against the outside elements.  This helps maintain the product appearance for the life of the building.

Q.  I have seen some buildings where the windows are really mirrored; do all window films do that for homes?
A. No.  Traditional films are constructed out of mostly metal and minor amounts of dye and their success on reducing heat is based on how much light the film blocks out from entering the home thus giving a higher appearance of reflectivity.  That mirrored appearance is common with traditional films.  With Huper Optik® Extreme Infrared Film a consumer receives a film that is completely dyed free and the ceramic films are metal and dye free.  This allows the glass to maintain its natural appearance while rejecting high amounts of solar energy.  Furthermore, they don't require increased amount of interior lights to be used like darker films which allows consumers to truly benefit on reducing their energy consumption.  Huper Optik® Extreme Infrared Films, consumers typically can't tell that the windows have even been tinted after we have completed our work!

Q. Is this process expensive?
A.  Autoshades, Inc. carries multiple lines of films that truly fits into everyone's budget and due to the fact that Eastern Washington utility rates are very low, consumer's that invest in Huper Optik® Smart Window Films receive a faster rate of return on their investment.  Lowering your energy consumption lower's your utility bill and consumers will get a return on their investment for installing Huper Optik® Smart Window Films.
